Its hard to keep a blog when you don't have much new to share. Things are pretty much the same, with the exception that my home will be up for sale come April 30th. It has been an extremely hard decision to make, but I have had sporatic periods of time where I have been able to put my emotions aside and make a rational decision.This month I did have an opportunity to get away and take somewhat a reprieve from my worries here. I visited a friend in Michigan who was kind enough to pay for my trip, and I was able to see the state that the only thing I knew about it was that it looks like a mitten! Northern Michigan was beautiful and I got to see the entire state and all the gorgeous Great Lakes.
Although it was a nice reprieve and it was good to get away for a while, it has been ingrained in me that you can't run from your worries. So during my time there I continued my full time search for employment. Definitely confirmed that I would NOT want to work in Detroit, yeegads!

Egads, Kelly, I hate to hear you have to sell out. Believe me when I tell you the thought has crossed my mind more than ten thousand times.
I've been to Michigan a few times - mostly just the southern edge. I did go north of Lansing a ways into the lake resort country. Too many trees for my tastes - it was beautiful, but I like to see more of the sky.
